AS Roma Get Off to Their Worst Start Under Jose Mourinho

Yesterday, AS Roma was beaten by Genoa with a 1:4 score. Jose Mourinho's side won only one of the opening 6 games of the season.

AS Roma suffered another humiliating defeat last night, as they were thrashed by Genoa 4-1 in an away Serie A clash. This is the third loss for Jose Mourinho’s side after six Serie A games this season, and the worst season start in the Portuguese manager’s career.

This is the third defeat for Roma this season, after losing to AC Milan (2-1) and Verona (2-1) in previous rounds. They also drew with U. S. Salernitana (2-2) and Torino (1-1), and only managed to beat Empoli (7-0) in a one-sided affair.

Roma are currently 16th in the standings with only five points after six rounds. They are 10 points behind leaders AC Milan and Inter, who both have 15 points.

Roma will hope to bounce back from this dismal performance when they face Frosinone at home on Sunday, October 1st.
