Rafael Nadal posted a video on Instagram of his first training session in five months. The Spanish legend is getting ready to come back on the ATP tour in 2024.
Rafael Nadal is the 22-time Grand Slam champion. This is the second best result in the history of men’s tennis after Novak Djokovic’s record (24 titles)
Rafa played just four matches in 2023, losing three of them. In May, the Spaniard gave a press conference at which he announced the early end of the season due to a chronic foot injury. He added that 2024 is likely to be the last year of his professional career.
Apart from Djokovic, there has only been one other tennis player with a positive head-to-head record against Nadal (assuming two or more matches are played). You can read about him in detail here.
