Thomas Muller scores his 101th Champions League win

Bayern Munich star equaled legendary Iker Casillas by that margin. He's now only behind Cristiano Ronaldo, who scored 115 wins.

On Tuesday night, Bayern Munich beat FC Copenhagen 2-1 in the second round of the Champions League group stage. This allowed Thomas Muller to achieve his 101th win in Europe’s most prestigious club competition.

Muller is now holding the second best result in the Champions League history alongside Iker Casillas. Cristiano Ronaldo with 115 wins is the current record holder

Muller has been representing Bayern since 2007. During this time he made 446 appearances for the German side in all tournaments, scoring 144 goals. He is also the 2014 World Cup champion with the German national team.

Will Muller beat Cristiano Ronaldo's record for most Champions League wins?
