Liverpool fans will be delighted to hear that their star right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold is back in training after recovering from a hamstring injury. The 24-year-old defender missed the last three games for the Reds. Those included the Europa League opener against LASK and the Premier League showdown with West Ham United.

Alexander-Arnold suffered the injury in the 3:0 win over Aston Villa on September 3
However, it is still unclear whether he will be fit enough to feature in the Carabao Cup round of 32 match against Leicester City tomorrow. Pepijn Lijnders, Jurgen Klopp’s assistant, gave an update on his condition in a press conference today.
Trent trained yesterday with us but it was just in the rondo and the ball possession with the counter-pressing, but he was outstanding. You’ll see him instantly [when he’s fit], of course. He is with the team training, I am not sure if he will be ready, we will see today.
This season, Trent has played four games for Liverpool, registering one assist during that time. He has also been named in Gareth Southgate’s England squad for the upcoming international matches. The Liverpool vs Leicester City match will take place at Anfield tomorrow. The game will kick off at 19:45 (GMT+1).
