Liverpool striker was forced to leave the pitch during the half-time of the Tottenham clash (1-2) after a rough tackle from Destiny Udogie.

According to British media reports, the Dutch international will be out of action in October.

The forward will probably not help his national team during the international break in October. The nature of the injury is yet to be specified.

Team Netherlands is set to play two UEFA European Championship Qualifying matches in October. They will face France at home on Oct. 13, and Greece away on Oct. 16

Moreover, the 24-year-old may also miss Liverpool’s clashes agains Union (Oct. 5) and Toulouse (Oct. 26). The Reds may also be left without the striker for Premier League games against Brighton (October 8), Everton (October 21) and Nottingham Forrest (October 29).
