Families flocked to the Boys and Girls Clubs’ back multipurpose room to enjoy fresh made menudo last Saturday.
The proceeds from the $5 breakfast donation help fund the Clubs’ Keystone members to attend the annual leadership conference.
Keystone is a leadership development club comprising of La Habra teens working to make a difference for themselves and the community.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of America National Keystone Conference is in the summer of 2018. The 35 teen members of the La Habra Keystone group look to join 2,000 other teens in fellowship and learning at the conference.
The menudo was prepared by the teens with fresh ingredients provided by Senor Campos Restaurant.
The money will allow the teens to attend the conference and meet new friends from across the country.
