LH honors veterans at annual ceremony

The city of La Habra once again took time to honor its veterans with its annual Veterans Day Ceremony.

Master of Ceremonies and La Habra Police Officer Jason Forgash started off and set the tone for the ceremony.

meteorologist, shared his family’s connection to Veterans Day.
Sonora High School’s JROTC Color Guard folded the flag and their commander LTC

Hans Hunt, along with American Legion Post 267 Commander Jim Lozano, presented it to Marianne, the widow of Nile Stuart a Korean War veteran and La Habra resident who passed away earlier this year.

Ceremony chairperson Carrie Surich was recognized for her work in planning this year’s event.
Plans are already underway for next year’s Veterans Day event.
